Akshay Jog has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Akshay started as an intern at Reebok, where they worked on a project to determine the market potential and develop a business model for the 'Women's Fitness' business. After that, they worked at Virgin Mobile India as an Assistant Manager, analyzing financial and operational data, reducing customer complaints, and gaining valuable insights into business operations. Akshay then moved to Idea Cellular Ltd as a Special Project Manager, working on the IRIS project focused on telecom marketing. Currently, at Polyplex, Akshay holds the role of Head of Sourcing, SCM, and Customer Service, responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, negotiations, and government agency liaison. Alongside this, they also worked as a Manager Business Analysis and EA to the Managing Director, where they provided strategy support, conducted feasibility studies, and led cost-saving projects. Overall, Akshay has developed a strong skillset in business analysis, project management, and strategic sourcing.
Akshay Jog completed their Master's degree in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a PGDBM in Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur. In 2009, they also briefly studied for an MBA in Marketing at the Asian Institute of Technology. Before their post-graduate studies, Akshay completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2004 and 2008. In their pre-university education, they attended Abasaheb Garware College, Pune from 2002 to 2004. Finally, Akshay's educational journey began at Jnana Prabodhini Prashala, where they completed their secondary education from 1996 to 2002.
