Kate Cathey possesses extensive experience in product management and design, currently serving as a Product Manager for Customs and Surface Design at Polyvision since May 2017, where responsibilities include guiding product application and supporting custom development in CeramicSteel. As the owner of Petalmetal Design since 2005, Kate creates unique art jewelry and sculptures. Previous roles include Project Manager for Surface Imaging at Designtex, managing luxury interior surface materials, and various instructor positions in metals and enameling across multiple art centers. Kate has also held editorial and managerial roles in publishing and museum events, alongside obtaining an MFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University and a BA in Art History from the University at Albany.
