Connor Cobb

Connor Cobb, EIT, is a Mechanical Engineer I at Pond & Company with a background in various engineering roles and internships. Previous experience includes a Transportation Intern position at BNSF Railway, where Connor utilized Lean Six Sigma methods to streamline processes and developed an automated system for Trainmasters, saving substantial work hours. As a Research Assistant at the University of South Alabama College of Engineering, Connor worked on projects focused on power delivery systems for medical equipment and thermal management for electronics. Additional experience includes a sustainability engineering internship at Continental Aerospace Technologies™, where Connor managed an airplane engine parts database and optimized inventory costs, along with a role in customer service and technical support at Flightworks Alabama. Connor also has experience as a Sailing Coach with the Fairhope Yacht Club and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
