Alex S. Qi is a co-founder and CEO of Pontosense since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a co-founder and advisor at Mercku from September 2017 to January 2022. Alex was also a co-founder at Hyku, which merged with Mercku, from March 2014 to September 2017. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, they worked as a management consultant at Kearney from September 2010 to March 2014.
Alex S. Qi has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with Distinction in Honours Marketing, with a minor in Economics, from Wilfrid Laurier University. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with Distinction in Honours Statistics from the University of Waterloo.
