Jie Hou

Jie Hou is a highly experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Tech Lead Manager at Pony.ai since May 2017, Jie focuses on advancing L2+ autonomous driving features, particularly automatic parking assist technologies. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Uber, where Jie contributed to the China Growth Team, and positions at Google, Pinterest, and Amazon, where Jie developed various tools and services in Android and payment systems. Jie earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University.
