Kai C. serves as the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Pony.ai since April 2017, leading the R&D and mass production of hardware and software for autonomous driving control units. Previously, Kai held the position of Tech Lead Manager in Hardware Engineering, focusing on computation, sensor integration, and autonomous vehicle systems. Prior experience includes working as an Automotive System Hardware Engineer at NVIDIA, where contributions were made to the Drive PX and Drive CX platforms. Kai also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, and completed a Supply Chain Tech Internship at Cisco Systems. Educational credentials include a BS in Information Engineering from Zhejiang University and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
