Andrew Renner

Andrew Renner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrew started their career as a Programmer at the University of Manitoba and later became a Computer Lab Manager at McMaster University. From there, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst at the Ontario University Athletic Association and as a Web Architect/Applications Developer at Economy.com. Andrew then served as a Lead Programmer/Analyst/DBA at Canadian Tire Corporation and as a Project Manager/Lead Programmer/Analyst/DBA at Ferranti Packard Transformers.

Moving forward, Andrew worked as an Office Network Setup/Support at Dr. Tim Rindlisbacher - Medical Examination Experts. Andrew then transitioned to application development roles at McMaster University - Offord Centre for Children at Risk and UCLA - Center for Healthier Children.

Andrew's expertise in Information & Communication Technology led him to managerial positions at Population Health Research Institute, where they first served as a Project Manager/Programmer/Analyst/DBA before becoming a Manager and later a Director in that department.

Andrew Renner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from McMaster University between 1995 and 2000. Andrew also obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University from 1995 to 1999. In terms of certifications, Andrew obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificate in Project Management in March 2015, and the ITIL Expert Certification in IT Service Management and ITIL Expert Managing Across the Lifecycle in 2018. Andrew also earned the ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in an unspecified year.
