Reena Khaiya Atuma

Reena Atuma serves as an Activity Manager and Health Systems Strengthening Technical Officer at PRB since October 2021, leading AYP-focused programming activities in collaboration with youth organizations and health service delivery. Previously, Reena worked as a Programmes Officer and Research Assistant at the Institute of Public Finance Kenya, focusing on public finance research and gender-sensitive budgeting. Volunteering with the Young Women Empowerment Program, involvement included life skills training and advocacy on health and gender issues. Internships with Hakijamii and Unbound provided experience in human rights and nonprofit work. Reena’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Health Economics and Policy from the University of Nairobi, a certificate in Capacity Development from DiploFoundation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with Information Technology from Maseno University.
