John J. Farrell Jr. brings over 40 years of experience in Law Enforcement, Security, and Fire-Life Safety across public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of the Facilities and Operations Command Center at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey since March 2012, John oversees the development and management of Class A Operations for Fire/Life Safety and Facility Operations. Responsibilities include supporting the PANYNJ and NYPD "Campus Plan" and managing critical operations at Liberty Park and the Transit Hub's Operation Command Center. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Security & Life Safety Technologies at Related, Director of Security and Life Safety at SL Green Realty Corp., and Director of Security and Life Safety at RXR Realty. John holds certifications from the Fire Science Institute at John Jay College and has contributed significantly to security system development and emergency management initiatives throughout his career.
