Dave Robertson

Dave Robertson serves as the Chief Public Affairs Officer for the Port of Portland since July 2023 and is the President of DR Strategies LLC, a strategic public affairs consulting firm established in October 2022. With extensive experience, Robertson previously held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs at Portland General Electric from 2004 to 2022, overseeing various teams in communications, government relations, and community affairs. Prior roles include Director of Government Affairs at Portland General Electric and Director of Regional Government Relations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Earlier in their career, Robertson served as a consultant at Robertson Grosswiler & Company and as Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate. Robertson holds a BS in Political Science from Willamette University and a Utility Management Certificate from the University of Idaho.
