David Long

David Long has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David began their career in 2007 as a Shipping/Receiving employee at Northwest Technologies Inc. In 2008, they transitioned to Stone Creek Christian Church, where they served as the leader of Music/Media/Technical Ministries. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing music and media production, as well as maintaining electronics and computers.

In 2018, David joined VanderHouwen as a Desktop Support Specialist on a contract with Port of Portland. After their contract with VanderHouwen ended in 2021, they moved on to Mt. Hood Community College, where they worked as a Remote Client Technology Technician until 2022. Currently, David is employed at the Port of Portland as a Senior Applications Analyst, specializing in Public Safety Systems.

David Long earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science from Mt. Hood Community College, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Christian Ministry at Hope International University from 2011 to 2016. Alongside their educational qualifications, David also obtained the VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware in July 2021.
