Sean Loughran has a diverse range of work experience in planning and development. Sean started their career at the Port of Portland in 1996, working on various projects related to aviation planning and development. Sean then worked for the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department for five years, where they served as the State Recreation Trails Coordinator and represented the agency on committees. In 2007, Sean returned to the Port of Portland as the Director of Planning and Development, overseeing long-range planning and management. Additionally, they served as the Airport Manager for Pearson Field at the City of Vancouver from 2004 to 2007.

Sean Loughran has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Political Science from Gonzaga University. Sean also holds a Master's Degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Portland State University.
