Martijn Thijsen has extensive work experience in various roles within the logistics and transportation industry. Martijn has worked for the Port of Rotterdam, where they served as the Head of Global Connect, Head of Ecosystem & Platform Play, and Digital Strategy Lead. Martijn Thijsen has a diverse educational background. Martijn started their education at Berkel Secondary School from 1994 to 2000. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Groningen in 2000 to study Dutch Law, receiving a Propadeutics degree in this field in 2002.
In 2002, Martijn continued their studies at the University of Groningen and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, which they successfully completed in 2005. Martijn then went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Groningen from 2005 to 2007.
In 2007, Martijn Thijsen took part in the TNT - Young Executive Programme (YEP), which was a management traineeship. The specific degree obtained during this program is not specified.
