Noortje van de Burgt has extensive experience in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Manager of Data Science & Analytics at the Port of Rotterdam since October 2014. In this role, Noortje leads an ambitious analytics strategy transitioning from Excel-based analytics to advanced consulting and forecasting models. Prior to this, Noortje held several positions including Team Lead for Data Analytics in the commercial department, where responsibilities included the development of data warehousing products and data visualization tools, and Financial Advisor focusing on pricing strategy and competitive intelligence. Earlier experience includes project leadership at TNS NIPO on large quantitative research projects and an internship at the Gemeente Rotterdam, where Noortje contributed to the 'Ik zit op Zuid' project. Noortje holds an MSc in Urban, Port, and Transport Economics and a BSc in Economics and Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
