Victor Trav has a diverse work experience in the engineering and design field. Victor started their career as an Engineering Technician at AKM Consulting Engineers in 1994 and worked there until 1996. Victor then worked as a Drafting Consultant at Bundy Finkle Architects from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 1997, they were a Project Coordinator at DC Design Group, where they managed personnel and projects in various fields.
In 1997, Victor joined P&D Consultants as a Production/Network Coordinator, where they administered production teams and managed daily server maintenance. Victor stayed with the company until 2002. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Martin & Ziemniak as a Production/Network Manager, where they drafted working drawings and managed all aspects of production.
In 2004, Victor had two simultaneous roles. Victor worked as an Engineering/Mapping Designer at REC Consultants, where they created engineering documents, updated design plans, and collected field information. Victor also worked as a Dispatcher/Volunteer Coordinator at DESIGNATED DRIVERS ASSN OF SAN DIEGO, a non-profit organization that aimed to improve public safety by providing alcohol-impaired individuals with safe transportation. Victor's responsibilities included scheduling and managing volunteer teams, dispatching them to impaired individuals, and meeting with local officials to determine areas with problem drinking.
From 2006 to 2016, Victor worked at Moffatt & Nichol as a Senior Civil Tech, where they played a significant role in civil engineering projects. Victor then joined Kimley-Horn as a Civil Designer from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Victor works at the Port of San Diego as a Civil Designer, a position they have held since 2017.
Victor Trav attended ITT Technical Institute from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Technology/Technician, General. In July 2020, they completed the certification course "Revit 2020: Essential Training for Architecture (Imperial)" offered by LinkedIn.
