Vallory McCormack has a diverse work experience in marketing and sales. Vallory started their career at Tradeco International as a Sales Representative in 2009. Vallory then moved on to Wilton Brands, where they held several roles including Consumer Affairs Coordinator, Public Relations Manager, Social Marketing Specialist, and finally Digital Marketing Manager from 2011 to 2016. Currently, Vallory is working at Portillo's where they started as a Content Marketing Manager in 2016, then became the Senior Marketing Manager until 2021, and is currently serving as the Director of Marketing.
Vallory McCormack earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Management, from Augustana College between 2005 and 2009. In 2019, they completed a Certificate of Completion as an Asana Ambassador from Asana.

In 1963, Dick Portillo and his wife Sharon invested their life savings of $1,100 into a hot dog stand called “The Dog House” in Villa Park, IL. The Dog House didn’t have running water or a bathroom. Dick had to run garden hoses from a local business to get the water he needed. The menu was simple – hot dogs, tamales, fries and a coke, all for under 35 cents. Through Dick’s hard work and determination, the Dog House evolved into Portillo’s and has become what it is today. Come and enjoy our legendary food served by the friendliest people in the business.
