Craig Gibson

Craig Gibson is an accomplished music educator and performer with extensive experience in brass instruction and band direction. As the Band Director at Portland Public Schools since 2011, Craig oversees multiple grade-level bands and a jazz band, in addition to teaching a computer tech class. Since 1995, Craig has served as the Instructor of Trumpet at Reed College. Craig also founded Columbia Brass in 1989, specializing in brass music performance and instruction. Academically, Craig holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Music Education from Lewis & Clark College.
