Tina Peterman

Tina Peterman is a seasoned professional in Counselor Education with extensive academic and practical experience. Currently serving as a Professor and Interim Dean of Education at Portland State University, Tina has managed complex budgets and led significant teacher transformation efforts, fostering collaboration across departments. Tina also has a rich background in leadership roles, including Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Department Chair, where initiatives such as the PSU Prep project and CACREP accreditation were successfully implemented. Tina's practical experience encompasses a licensed professional counseling practice and clinical supervision of counselors in Oregon, alongside tenure as an ACE Fellow at the University of Washington Tacoma. With a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Tina has dedicated much of the career to vocational rehabilitation and education, enhancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
