Aishling M.

Aishling M. currently serves as the Learning and Development Manager at Portwest since July 2023. Prior to this role, Aishling held the position of Further Education & Training Manager at Galway and Roscommon ETB from September 2022 to June 2023. Aishling has extensive experience in global citizenship education, having worked as Director and Education Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs - WorldWise Global Schools from August 2013 to September 2022, where programs included grant funding and training for post-primary schools. Additionally, Aishling was a member of the Advisory Committee for the National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development within the Department of Education from October 2014 to September 2022, contributing to sustainable education initiatives. Aishling's earlier experience includes curriculum development as a member of the Junior Cycle Geography Subject Development Group at the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, and teaching Geography and Economics at various schools. Aishling holds degrees from the University of Oxford, Maastricht University, and University of Galway in related fields.
