James Blair

James Blair is a seasoned professional in data science and product management, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Integrations at Posit PBC since May 2018. In this role, James has guided the implementation of Posit software across major platforms such as Databricks and Google Cloud, while also leading the development of critical products for the company. Previous experience includes positions as a Solutions Engineer and Data Scientist, where James worked on RStudio integrations and developed data strategies for clients. James has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University, teaching Applied R Programming. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Data Science from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University.
