Seth A. Hoedl is the President, Chief Science Officer & Co-founder of POST ROAD FOUNDATION, where he develops financing and business models for broadband networks and evaluates opportunities for fiber-based communication networks. He has previously worked as an Energy and Climate Consultant, Fellow at Emmett Environmental Law & Policy Clinic, Chief Science Officer at CivaTech Oncology, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington. Seth holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Experimental Nuclear Physics from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Stanford University.

Post Road Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to advance sustainable infrastructure for underserved rural and urban communities, including high-speed internet and electric grid modernization. Post Road conducts technology demonstration projects to evaluate the potential of emerging technologies, such as transactive energy, for economic development, energy efficiency and climate goals. Post Road also conducts policy research on topics such as energy ethics, to highlight the social aspects of novel energy technologies and bring energy ethics into the development process -- so that everyone benefits.
