Fabrizio Giardino has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Fabrizio began their career in 2001 at Ipse 2000 S.p.A as an Interactive Services Analyst. In 2003, they joined Mondadori S.p.A. as a Junior Product Manager for a brief period of six months. Later that year, they joined Poste Italiane as the Head of Payment Acceptance. Fabrizio held this position for twelve years until 2015. In the same year, they became the Head of BancoPosta Sales - Southern Italy at Poste Italiane, a position they currently hold.
Fabrizio Giardino completed a Diploma Liceo Scientifico at Liceo Scientifico Elio Vittorini from 1990 to 1995. Fabrizio then pursued a degree in Business Economics at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 1995 to 2000. In 2002, they obtained a Master in Marketing e Comunicazione from Istituto Superiore del Marketing - Università La Sapienza. Lastly, in 2006, they received an advanced degree in Bank Card Management from the Institute for Financial Services - VISA International.

It is engaged in financial and payment services, including post office current and savings accounts, post office interest-bearing bonds, national and international money orders and currency exchange services. The Company's activities are divided into four operating segments. The Postal Service and Commercial Service includes correspondence, express delivery, logistics, parcel and philately. The Financial Service combines the activities of banking services. The Insurance Service includes the activities of Poste Assicura SpA, Poste Vita SpA and its subsidiaries. The Other Service includes the activities of Poste Mobile SpA and the Consortium for the phone services of Mobile Phone ScpA. The main shareholder of the Company is the Italian government.
