Peter Degroot

Peter DeGroot is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Postmedia Network Inc. since July 2010, Peter oversees technology strategy, operations, and security across Canada. Previously held positions include Vice President of Strategy and Vice President of Digital Media and Emerging Technology at Postmedia, where leadership in digital transformation was instrumental. Earlier roles included Vice President of Interactive and Emerging Technology at Canwest, where significant integration projects were undertaken, and Head of Technology at Hollinger Capital, managing a diverse asset portfolio.
