Laura Miller

Laura Miller is an experienced professional with a strong background in marketing and alumni relations. Since August 2009, Laura has served as the Director of Alumni Relations at The Potomac School. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Consultant at Propel Ventures from August 2000 to August 2009, specializing in marketing consulting. Laura's commitment to education and community service is reflected in a leadership position as Chair of the Communication Committee at the National Child Research Center from June 2006 to June 2009 and as a Board Member at the Sheridan School from September 2002 to June 2005. Earlier in Laura's career, significant positions included Director of Marketing for the Interactive Division and Director of Marketing at The National Geographic Society from 1993 to 2001, as well as Director, E-Commerce at National Geographic Interactive from December 1999 to September 2000. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from American University.
