Maarten van der Velden currently serves as Senior Vice President at Power2X, a role initiated in March 2024, focusing on aiding investors and developers in clean molecule projects and grey-to-green transitions. Prior to this, Maarten was a Partner at McKinsey & Company from September 2016 to February 2024, leading both the BeNeLux and Southeast Asia Strategy and Corporate Finance practices, where support was provided to clients on various strategic initiatives including M&A and joint ventures. Maarten's career at McKinsey also included positions as Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, and Associate. Maarten began professional experience at HAL Investments as an Associate from July 2007 to April 2010. Educationally, Maarten holds a Drs degree in Experimental Physics from Utrecht University, completed between 1999 and 2007.
