Andy Smith has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Andy started their career as an Engineering Intern at Swagelok, where they gained experience in fitting services and hose services. At Nexceris, LLC, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer, designing and testing components for fuel cells and other projects. Andy then joined Honda R&D Americas, Inc. as an Engine Design Engineer, where they created 3D layouts and drawings for engine components. Andy also worked at Quintus Technologies as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in pressure vessel and equipment design. Currently, they are employed at PowerBuilt Material Handling Solutions, LLC as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Lead, overseeing project completion, conducting design reviews, and mentoring team members. Overall, Andy has a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven ability to design and develop innovative solutions.
Andy Smith attended The Ohio State University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2012, they also obtained the certification of Certified SolidWorks Associate from SolidWorks Corporation.
