Maria Arlà Capdevila

Maria Arlà Capdevila has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Maria currently works at PowerCo SE as the Head of People Strategy, Governance & Organization. Prior to that, they had roles at Urià Menéndez as a Senior Lawyer in the Labor Law Department and at Esade as a Co-lecturer. Maria has also worked as a Lecturer at EADA Business School and as a Co-lecturer at UPF Barcelona School of Management and Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, they have worked as an Associate Lawyer in the Labor Law Department at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira and as an Intern at Garrigues in their Corporate Law Department. Maria started their career as a Practicum Student at Abogacía del Estado.

Maria Arlà Capdevila completed their education at various institutions. Maria began their academic journey at Oak House British School, where they completed their primary, secondary, and high school education from 1990 to 2006. During this time, they focused on social sciences. In 2004, they obtained the IGCSE Exams certification, which validated their secondary education with the United Kingdom.

Maria then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they studied Business Administration at the same university, earning another Bachelor's degree in the field. As part of their studies, Maria participated in the Erasmus Program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2010-2011, emphasizing Business Administration and Management.

Recently, Maria enrolled at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where they are expected to complete a Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, and Art History from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained a practical implementation certification in GDPR from LinkedIn in an unspecified year.
