Praveen Kakulte has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Praveen began their career in 1995 at ENERCON, where they held the position of Vice President & Groups Head. During their tenure, they were responsible for Wind Technology Collaboration & Serial Production start-ups. After leaving ENERCON in 2011, Praveen went on to found POWERCON Ventures India Pvt. Ltd. in 2012, where they served as the Founder and CEO. In 2014, they joined PowerSun India as the CEO, a position they held until 2018. Praveen Kakulte's work experience showcases their leadership skills and expertise in the renewable energy industry.
Praveen Kakulte holds a Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics Engineering from Power Engineer, which they obtained from 1984 to 1987. Prior to that, they pursued Electrical Engineering at Polytechnique from 1981 to 1984. Lastly, they attended SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for an Executive MBA in Operations, although they did not complete the program.
