Bill Allen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bill started their career as a Registered Representative at First Investors Corporation in 1985. In 1987, they joined A&R Recording Studios as a Maintenance Engineer, where they worked until 1993. From 1993 to 1999, Bill worked at BMG - The New Music Company, first as a Master Engineer, then as the Manager of U.S. Facilities, and later as the Director of New Technology.
In 2002, Bill joined Dolby Laboratories as the Senior Director of Production Services and held this role until 2011. Bill then joined SolarCity in 2012, where they served as a Permit and Inspections Coordinator, Senior Permit Coordinator, and finally as the Commercial Permit Coordinator until 2016.
Bill then moved to Tesla in 2016 as a Project Development Engineer and worked there until 2018. Currently, they are with PowerFlex, starting as a Business Development Engineer in 2018 and transitioning to the role of Pricing Manager in 2021.
Bill Allen attended Tufts University from 1979 to 1983 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2005, they participated in the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute for Management of High-Technology Companies at Stanford University. In 2012, they completed the NABCEP Certification Training Class at the Center for Sustainable Energy.
