Akshan Ish

Akshan Ish currently serves as the Head of Design at PowerUs since August 2023. Previously, Akshan held the position of Design Manager at Spotify from October 2021 to August 2023, leading a team focused on enhancing the user experience within the consumer mobile app, particularly the Now Playing view. Prior experience includes serving as Product Design Lead at Babbel, where Akshan managed design efforts for user onboarding and engagement, and as Principal Product Designer at Ciara, where Akshan contributed to the development of a digital meeting assistant. A Design Lead at IDEO from March 2015 to October 2019, Akshan worked with various clients, helping organizations innovate and transform their operations. Earlier roles included Senior Designer at La Victoria Lab and Interaction Design Intern at IDEO, among others. Akshan holds a Master's Degree in Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design and a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology.
