David Curran

David Curran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the coatings industry. Currently serving as the New Product Development Manager at PPG Industries since April 2014, David leads initiatives in durable finishes technology, focusing on various coating types for the protective coatings market. Previously, as a Lead Development Chemist at PPG, responsibility included managing zinc-rich protective coatings. Prior experience includes a role at AkzoNobel as a Development Chemist, where David contributed to anti-fouling coatings and led quality systems to ISO9001:2008 standards. David's career began at Benjamin Moore & Co. as a Laboratory Technician, assisting in the development of interior latex coatings. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2009.
