Jay Allen is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing desktop and web applications, particularly within the biosciences and pharmaceutical industries. At Certara, from December 2021 to July 2024, Jay served as Team Lead, overseeing conceptual design, technical architecture, and feature development. Previous roles include software engineering at OnSolve and AmTrust Financial, where Jay worked with various technologies including Angular, React, .NET, C#, and SQL. Jay’s background also includes development experience at PPS, Micro Office, and involvement in a coding bootcamp at Tech Elevator. Early in Jay's career, experience as a General Affairs Specialist at JTEKT Corporation and a Corporate Trainer at Swagelok contributed to a well-rounded skill set. Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from Cornell University.
