Pauline Quirke Academy
Jenny Berrisford is an accomplished film and TV educator and creative director with extensive experience in the performing arts. Currently serving as Principal and Film and TV Teacher at The Pauline Quirke Academy Chester since 2016, Jenny also holds the position of Video Content Producer at Derby Museums, a role initiated in 2021. As Creative Director at Vision In Colour and Scribble Box Productions, Jenny leads diverse film projects ranging from educational films to commercials. Additional teaching roles include Film Teacher for More Than English and acting and filmmaking instruction at various academies, along with a history of freelance filmmaking and content production for educational initiatives. Jenny's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Film and TV from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Performance from the University of Salford.
Pauline Quirke Academy
The Pauline Quirke Academy is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. The PQA model has been put together by people who work professionally in the performing arts industry and education sector. It means our classes deliver high educational value combined with realistic industry practice and our students get the best possible experience.
