Drew Phillips, CPA, IAR has a diverse work experience in finance and advisory roles. Drew started their career as a tutor at Appalachian State University, providing guidance in finance and banking courses. Drew then worked as an intern at CohnReznick LLP, focusing on audit services for nonprofit and for-profit developers. After that, Drew joined Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP as a consultant in advisory services and later transitioned to transaction advisory services. Drew then joined MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. as a finance and underwriting leader, where they developed methods and models to increase ROI. Currently, Drew works at PracticeCFO as a CFO Advisor, assisting privately owned dental and medical practices in achieving their financial goals.
Drew Phillips, CPA, IAR completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Appalachian State University. Drew then pursued another Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same university. In 2015, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). Continuing their professional development, in 2018, they achieved the certification of Investment Adviser Representative from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
