Dirk Janse van Rensburg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Dirk began their career as a Coordinator of Continuous Improvement at Ceres Fruit Processors, where they managed projects to enhance the organization's manufacturing environment. Dirk then worked as a Systems Integration Specialist at Digiata Technologies, focusing on implementing business process automation and integration solutions for clients in the financial sector. Dirk joined Pragma Global in 2007, starting as a Consultant and being involved in a large-scale international project to deliver a new asset management strategy. Dirk later took on the role of ACC Tools Manager, responsible for defining and integrating software tools based on business requirements. Dirk then served as an Operations Manager, overseeing the delivery of asset care services to international clients and assisting in strategy development and system integration. Most recently, they held the position of Managing Director: Research and Development at Pragma, leading a team in the fields of software development, business intelligence, and IoT to enable Smart Enterprise Asset Management.

Dirk Janse van Rensburg earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration from Stellenbosch University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university, from 2001 to 2004. In 2014, Dirk also obtained a Certificate in Asset Management from the Institute of Asset Management (The IAM).
