Steve Briggs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product compliance and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Product Compliance Engineer at Precor since August 2023, Steve oversees regulatory and compliance processes for Precor products. Prior to this role, Steve was a Senior Quality Engineer at Perch, contributing to the acquisition and management of over 100 brands in the technology-driven commerce sector. Steve spent over a decade at Intertek, initially as a Senior Technical Manager, where Steve managed a team focused on product quality projects, and later as a Product Specification/Testing Protocol Developing Engineer, where Steve developed specifications and protocols for various regulatory requirements. Steve's career also includes roles as Corporate Safety Manager at Sears Holdings Corporation and Project Engineer at Product Safety Consulting, along with a foundational role as a Senior Project Engineer at UL. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an Associate of Science degree from Grand Rapids Community College.
