Jeremiah Lowin is the Founder and CEO of Prefect and has held advisory roles at Spotify, FabFitFun, and O'Shaughnessy Ventures since 2021, 2018, and 2023, respectively. Jeremiah also serves as a Global Ambassador for Compass Coffee since 2014 and was a PMC Member and Committer for Apache Airflow from 2016 to 2020. Previous experience includes Director of Risk Management at a Single Family Office from 2013 to 2018, and serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Bessemer Venture Partners in 2013. Jeremiah founded Lowin Data Company from 2011 to 2013, focusing on machine learning systems for time series, and worked as Manager of Market Risk and Data Scientist at King Street Capital Management from 2007 to 2011, overseeing quantitative infrastructure for a $20B hedge fund. Jeremiah holds an A.M. in Statistics from Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
