Michael Marcus has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Michael began their career at Bear Stearns in 1998, where they worked in Prime Brokerage until 2000. From there, they joined Pergament Advisors, LLC where they served as a Portfolio Manager for both fund of hedge funds and corporate & municipal credit portfolios. Additionally, they worked as an analyst and trader on various strategies. In 2008, they joined Deutsche Asset Management as a Vice President until 2009. Currently, they are a Partner and the Co-Head of Manager Research at Prelude Capital, a position they have held since 2010.
Michael Marcus attended Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance, General.
