Michael Rush

Michael Rush is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and healthcare services. Currently serving as the Director of Advisory Services at Premier Inc. since September 2021, Michael previously held the position of Assistant Vice President at Atrium Health for 24 years, where responsibilities included driving enterprise-wide procurement strategies and optimizing departmental performance. Michael's leadership fostered open communication among stakeholders and established initiatives that improved processes and engagement. Additionally, Michael successfully led Capital Procurement during a period of significant growth, implementing innovative strategies and optimizing vendor selection for multimillion-dollar projects. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Furman University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
