Jose Ferreira

José Ferreira is the Vice President of Strategic Finance at Preply, where he leads Strategy, FP&A and Investor Relations, bringing disciplined execution and a focus on scalable growth and long-term value creation for the company’s B2C and B2B marketplace businesses. José brings over 15 years of international experience across finance, strategy, and operations. Before joining Preply, José held senior roles at Expedia Group, where he coordinated capital allocation across geographies for all Expedia Brands, and previously led Strategy & Operations for Vrbo in APAC. His earlier career spans roles at Fairfax Media, Groupon, Kearney and Capgemini. José studied Business Management and Computer Science in the University Institute of Lisbon and Universidade Catolica Portuguesa. José brings a global perspective to his role, shaped by living and working across Europe, Asia, and Australia.
