Joy Smith

Joy Smith serves as Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students at Presbyterian College since February 2013, overseeing various aspects of student life including Residence Life, Career Development, Student Success, and Campus Safety. Prior to this role, Joy Smith held positions at Clemson University as Associate Vice President and Dean of Students from January 2006 to January 2013 and as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs from January 1996 to January 2005. Joy Smith earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and holds a Master’s Degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Clemson University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University.
