Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas, MSN, RN, CEN, is an experienced nursing professional specializing in emergency services. Currently serving as the ED Director at PIH Health since February 2024, Michael previously held the position of Clinical Director at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center from October 2021 to February 2024. Earlier roles include Clinical Nurse Leader at Watsonville Community Hospital, Clinical Director at Seton Medical Center and St. Mary's Medical Center, where responsibilities encompassed managing emergency services and patient transportation. Michael’s extensive background in emergency care began as a Manager in the Emergency Department and Clinical RN at Swedish Medical Center, and earlier as Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department at Kadlec Medical Center.
