Sean Fox

Sean Fox is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems development and software architecture in aerospace applications. Currently serving as Chief Software Engineer at Blacksky Aerospace since February 2020, Fox specializes in developing low SWP embedded systems for meteorological data collection. As Lead Software Developer at Prescient Edge since February 2022, Fox has managed an Agile Scrum team and developed complex legacy codebases while integrating cloud solutions for international deployments. Additional experience includes owning BlackTrail LLC, software development at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and prior roles in software interface engineering and aerospace engineering. Fox holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
