Prevention Institute
Kalahn Taylor-Clark is the current President of the Board at Prevention Institute. Prior to this, they served as Vice President and Global Head of Patient Centered Outcomes and Innovation at Sanofi from March 2015 to June 2021. In this role, they contributed to the development of a patient-centered organization in R&D, which increased organizational commitment 6-fold to ‘upstream’ patient-centered outcomes in life sciences.
From September 2011 to November 2013, Dr. Taylor-Clark served as the Director of Health Policy at the National Partnership for Women and Families (NP). In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic policy and research support on a range of activities related to delivery system reform, including payment reform, quality measurement, reduction of health disparities, consumer engagement, and promotion of patient-centered care delivery and the effective use of health information technology (HIT).
Before their work at NP, Dr. Taylor-Clark was an Assistant Professor and Senior Advisor to the Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics at George Mason University from November 2013 to April 2015.
Kalahn Taylor-Clark received a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tufts University. Kalahn then went on to earn a Master of Public Health in Management from the Tufts University School of Medicine. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Policy from Harvard University.
