András Kálmán

András Kálmán is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software development, architecture, and DevOps. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Prezi since May 2018, András has led significant organizational improvements in developer efficiency and satisfaction, including the implementation of a Kubernetes-based remote development environment and various migrations to uniform microservices. Previous roles at Prezi include Senior Software Engineer focused on critical backend services. Before joining Prezi, András worked at Precognox for a decade, where responsibilities ranged from designing scalable software architectures to managing a DevOps team and refactoring applications into microservices. Earlier career experiences include software development roles at K-PROG and EastCom, where András contributed to Java EE applications and supported their deployment and maintenance. András holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Szeged.
