Paula'seducational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Maternal and Child Health at the University of Illinois Chicago, which they completed in the years 2016 to 2018.
