Ying Xu

Ying Xu is an accomplished professional with a robust background in data science and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Data Scientist at Primer.ai since October 2020, Ying previously worked as a Data Scientist at Stockpile from May 2018 to October 2020. Experience also includes a Teaching Assistant position in Java at Penn State University between August 2017 and May 2018, and research roles at UNHCR in Jordan and Rwanda from January 2016 to September 2017. Ying's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Technological Innovation and Data Science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. A Bachelor's Degree in Information System was obtained from Central China Normal University, following education at Yali High School.
