Daren Norman

Daren Norman has extensive experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors, particularly in roles related to testing and engineering. Currently serving as a Test Technician at Primus Power since October 2015, Daren previously held positions including Lead Engineering Technician at Solyndra, where expertise in sputter and evaporation tool maintenance for solar panel production was demonstrated. Daren’s background also includes work as a Final Test Technician at Intevac, overseeing operational testing for hard disk manufacturing, and Engineering Technician at Applied Materials, managing low-K systems in semiconductor labs. Additional roles at Applied Materials involved training and leadership responsibilities in final testing, while early career experience as a Western Regional Engineer at Noran Instruments focused on customer support in X-ray analysis and imaging systems. Daren holds an Associate's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Heald College-Concord.
