Jason Scherr is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability and business leadership, currently serving as the Manager of Environmental Sustainability at Prince Rupert Port Authority since November 2011. Scherr previously held the position of President at the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce from 2005 until March 2015. Prior to that, Scherr worked at Archipelago Marine Research for over 16 years, where roles included Manager of Electronic Monitoring Programs and Regional Office Manager. Education includes a Master of Business Administration obtained from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University (2015-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, History, and English from the University of Victoria (1989-1994).
