Shelby O'Brien is an accomplished legal and business professional with extensive experience in commercial and regulatory affairs. Since February 2013, Shelby has held multiple positions at the Port of Prince Rupert, progressing from In-House Counsel to Vice-President, Commercial and Regulatory Affairs & General Counsel. Prior to that, Shelby contributed as a lawyer at Ramsay Lampman Rhodes from January 2007 to October 2012 and volunteered with Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue in 2013. Shelby's education includes a Business Leadership for In-house Counsel program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, an MBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of British Columbia.
